Before opening a page, take a moment to set the edition and date. That small choice gives the front page its context and makes it easier to return to the issue you meant to read.
Set your starting point
Use the edition switcher to choose an available edition, then use the date picker or calendar to select the issue. The selected date and edition tell you what you are browsing, so check both before you begin. Once they are set, open the front page.
Move through the issue
Read page by page with the next and previous controls, or jump directly using the thumbnail strip. Thumbnails are useful when you have a particular page in mind; page-by-page reading keeps the issue’s sequence intact. On a phone, a swipe offers another way to turn the page.
Return to past editions
For an earlier issue, choose its date in the archive rather than relying on the current front page. If a supplement is available, select it as part of your edition browsing so it stays distinct from the main issue. A reliable habit is simple: confirm the date, confirm the edition, then start reading.
